Diosqoros of Gozarto (13th/14th cent.) [Syr. Orth.]
Bp. and author. Born in Barṭelle, his baptismal name was Gabriel. He was consecrated bp. of Gozarto d-Qardu (Cizre) in 1285/6. He was the author of a verse biography of Bar ʿEbroyo and of his brother Barṣawmo Ṣafī and of an Anaphora preserved in several mss. (not yet published).
